Yesterday, the European satellite Lisa Pathfinder was placed in its first orbit, after its launch by a Vega rocket from the Kourou space center, announced Arianespace.
The satellite - responsible for observing the gravitational waves theorized by Albert Einstein - will make a six-week trip into space. Its operational orbit is located approximately 1,5 million kilometers from Earth.
