The golf association "Les Tamarins" organized Sunday, October 25 at the golf course of Mullet Bay a club competition as part of the Pink October and for the benefit of "Ruban Rose".
The term "Pink October" was created by the association "Ruban Rose" which every year at this period, sheds light on the fight against breast cancer by informing, dialoguing and mobilizing at the national level.
As a reminder, breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women and the most fatal. In 2017, nearly 60 new cases were diagnosed in France and this pathology caused 000 deaths.
About twenty players had therefore lined up for this competition on the only golf course of the friendly island, that of Mullet Bay, greened by the recent rains to the great joy of the competitors.
As usual the starts were given at 8 am and the competition ended around 13 pm.
On arrival, the classification was spread out as follows:
- 1st series net man victory of Emmanuel Garcia
- 2nd net men's series: Ex-aequo, Andy Wescott and Laurent Mesguich
- 2nd series net lady: Benedicte Bichot
