Night golf at Mullet Bay: A new and original concept!

0

Playing a round of golf in the dark or in total darkness remains an original and fun experience. Most of those who have tried it once are eager to repeat the experience. Starting with the 31 golfers divided into 8 teams who played last weekend in a tournament at Mullet Bay in the darkness softly lit by the stars.

Equipped with light-up golf balls and a pair of flashlights, each team got in on the action. After a fierce battle, stray balls and misses, the surprising winner of the Moonlight Scramble is the team made up Frédéric Boureau, Laurent Mesguich, Ludovic Brun and Nicolas Doublecourt who finished the 10-hole course with a total score of 34 net.

Second prize was won by the team of Jeroen Leffers, Jan Drost and Tom Akkerman and Andy Holmes with a total score of 35 net. The team of Lee Hallam, David Donoghue, Andrew Ewing and Scott Sitra took third place with a total net score of 35 as well.

After the competition, the prize giving ceremony took place at La Tortuga located on the beach of the Royal Islander. The opportunity for all the teams to have a good time until late at night.

The atmosphere that prevails at each tournament is also the reason why many participants wish to renew the experience. For most, playing golf late at night has a friendlier, more fun and above all very laid back side. Between bursts of laughter, discussions around a cocktail or a buffet, night golf evenings are by far the best way to relax.
