Waste management: Last major cleaning after Irma, before resuming normal operation at the start of the year

The community of Saint-Martin - Environment Service - informs individuals and traders that a last major post-Irma cleaning of the streets of Marigot and other neighborhoods is currently underway, with regard to the collection of the numerous waste deposited on the sidewalks and near the roads. 

This last post Irma collection operation will be completed at the end of the year. Individuals and professionals are already invited to follow the regulations in force for the collection of waste, and to respect the drop-off times set up by the Collectivity.

- Garbage (food waste, papers, newspapers, flyers, food bricks, packaging) are collected from Monday to Saturday, from 18 p.m. to 23 p.m. This waste must be deposited just before 18 p.m. in the bins provided for this purpose.

- Bulky items (scrap, household appliances, furniture, mattresses) are picked up 4 times a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, from 18 p.m. to 23 p.m. They must be placed near the garbage containers just before 18 p.m.

- Green waste (branches, dead leaves, grass clippings, weeds) are picked up 3 times a week, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 18 p.m. to 23 p.m. They must be placed near the garbage containers just before 18 p.m.

Household waste : the bags must be placed in the containers provided for this purpose: 120 additional bins have just been installed, 300 are being installed.
