As before each school holiday period, the national gendarmerie is available to residents of Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy via the holiday peace operation.
This operation consists for individuals or for establishments in signaling to the police when they are going on vacation so that the patrols which monitor the territory carry out regular passages around dwellings or unoccupied premises. This is to allow the national gendarmerie to target more their action in their daily fight against burglaries. Individuals or managers of establishments who would like to benefit from this completely free service are invited to introduce themselves and complete a report form:
- either at the Marigot - Concordia gendarmerie brigade from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m. Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 15 p.m. to 18 p.m.
- either at the police station in the savannah from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m.
- or at the territorial police of Marigot from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 18 p.m.
