Gendarmerie Garde-Côtes: Cooperation to better combat trafficking of all kinds ...

0

Cyclone IRMA caused a lot of material damage within the State services.

However, with good working relationships and often close missions, a recent operational coordination agreement now unites the Gendarmerie and the Coast Guard in Saint-Martin.

The latter allows customs officers to board the nautical vector of the Gendarmerie, the "DOULENT", in order to carry out their missions of control and fight against traffic of all kinds.

These maritime professionals can, during these joint services, share information and exchange on their various experiences while taking advantage of each other's skills.
