Second part of an immersion in the heart of the Saint-Martin gendarmerie for thirteen final year students from the security professions sector of the Daniella Jeffry professional high school, from March 20 to 24, in the barracks of La Savane.
On the program for these 5 days, the high school students took part in courses on mastering the adversary without weapons, controlling people and vehicles, managing an accident, taking a crime scene into account and the X-ray procedure.
None of them had forgotten the promise made last year by Lieutenant-Colonel Maxime Wintzer-Wehekind: “If your behavior is irreproachable, I promise you a great military session like at the GIGN”.
Thing promised, thing due! Friday afternoon, a military sports session combining hardiness, cohesion and surpassing oneself closed this second course. After 2h15 of physical tests, the feeling was unanimous among the high school students... who were eager to start again!
Note that an agreement is being studied for other appointments with high school students in vocational baccalaureate.
