Fort Karl: discovering humpback whales

0

An information panel on cetaceans was recently installed in Fort Karl on the site of the Conservatoire du littoral, in Saint-Barthélemy. It was 6th grade students from Choisy college who produced this display featuring the humpback whale, with the help of their SVT teacher, announced the island's nature reserve. This project was carried out jointly by the Territorial Environment Agency of Saint-Barth, the college, the Agoa sanctuary and the Saint-Martin branch of the association Mon Ecole Ma Baleine. “This panel (…) makes it possible to educate the general public on the marine mammals frequenting the waters of St-Barthélemy which are part of the sanctuary and provides information on the partners of the project”, indicates the reserve. _EH
