Engaged since its creation in the training sector and in the implementation of concrete actions in favor of the general increase of skills and know-how present in our economy, the CCISM is now making the ambitious bet of bring to Saint-Martin a French Business School of international renown: HEC Paris.

HEC Paris is part of the small circle of Consular Higher Education Establishments (EESC) and builds tailor-made education courses for future business leaders as well as for those who are already in business.

As a training center and consular company, it seemed normal for the CCISM to join forces with this Grande Ecole to develop a program that can meet the renewed expectations of companies in the context of major changes, particularly induced by the health crisis, by giving them the keys to agile and sharp management of their activities.

The first promotion of the SME Manager Executive Certificate opened in Saint-Martin on Monday April 25 under the benevolence of Vincent Berton, Prefect of Saint Barthélemy and Saint-Martin who, after welcoming the initiative of the CCISM, recalled the fundamentals for the harmonious development of any society: training, youth, the environment and openness to the world.

The President of the CCISM, Angèle Dormoy, for her part, expressed her joy at seeing this project become a reality, her pride in seeing courageous and ambitious local business leaders in front of her and her gratitude towards HEC Paris which brings to our territory all its excellence and educational know-how to enable our companies to grow faster.

This training action is the subject of a request for co-financing under the European Social Fund (ESF) as part of a call for projects to support managers and professionalize them in order to sustain the activity and preserve jobs. This co-financing is being studied at the time of this publication.
