Acquire linguistic skills in French to better integrate into your professional environment. This is the objective of the training given recently by the company Entreprise Maintenance et Entretien (EME), to thirteen of its employees whose mother tongue is not French or who need to be upgraded.
From March to mid-May 2021, Nathalie Taleb, teacher / trainer of French as a Foreign Language provided a “French Refresher” training to a group of 13 employees of the EME company. "This training, lasting 112 hours, allowed people to become better acquainted with French, both written and spoken," she explains. “I have also worked on the axis of professional integration by obtaining a driving license, in partnership with the Auto-Ecole, Blue Conduite. Clearly, the "language driving" training offers a French program on specific objectives to teach road traffic French. Following this training, several people did not hesitate to take the plunge to register for the exam. To my greatest satisfaction ”!
EME: a real lever for professional integration
Present at the end of the training, Hubert Gorizia, operations manager of the Maintenance and Maintenance Company (EME), introduced us to this subsidiary of Semsamar which was created in Saint-Martin in 2009.
“Our primary vocation is the integration of people with employment difficulties. In collaboration with the Collectivity, we carried out several missions, in particular the management of the Jean-Louis Vanterpool stadium in Marigot and Thelbert Carti in Quartier d'Orléans. We also took care of cleaning the Semsamar residences (green spaces and common areas), kiosks on the Seafront and the fish market, beach cleaning, etc.
After the passage of Cyclone Irma, employees of the company EME Guadeloupe came to Saint-Martin to train our employees in the field of house painting. Demand was very high on the island. We have won several large contracts for the renovation of the residences "La Sucrerie", "Les Surettes", "Les Manguiers" and "La Ravine Colombe". A pride for EME! "
