From November 5 to 14, the 1st round (CONCACAF Zone) of qualifying for the Under-20 World Cup scheduled for 2023 in Indonesia will take place in the Dominican Republic. For the selection of Saint-Martin, all dreams are allowed!
Our Saint-Martin footballers begin their qualifying campaign for the U20 World Cup this Friday, November 5 at 16 p.m. in Santo Domingo (Olimpico Félix Sanchez stadium) against Saint Lucia. A first opponent a priori within the reach of our selection, motivated more than ever to strike a blow as soon as he enters the competition.
The Saint-Martin selection will then be opposed to the Dominican Republic on Sunday, November 7. Kick-off at 23 p.m.!
Note that the 19 teams present in these qualifiers were divided into three groups of five and one group of four. Only the teams that finish 1st in their respective pool will get their ticket to compete in the second phase of the qualifications scheduled for the summer of 2022.
The stage is set ! It's time to play now and perhaps at the start of a great and great adventure for our Saint-Martin footballers! _AF
