Initially scheduled for last Wednesday, the final of the Seniors Saint-Martin's Cup will finally be played, this Sunday, November 15, at 17 p.m., at the Alberic Richards stadium. Indeed, following a procedural flaw during the semi-final between FC Marigot and Attackers (note: FC Marigot was declared the winner by forfeit 3 - 0), the leaders of Quartier d'Orléans lodged a complaint with the District authorities. After examining the file, the ad-hoc committee decided to replay the semi-final the day before last night. Go figure ...
For the record, Attackers got his ticket to the final by winning against FC Marigot, during the fateful shootout. The players of Quartier d'Orléans will therefore face the Junior Stars on Sunday in the final. Junior Stars winner at U 17. Only the final of U 17 took place on the scheduled date, namely Wednesday 11 November. The Junior Stars won at the expense of Saint-Louis Stars on the final score of eight to one. _AF
