The plots BL 227 and 279 located in Marigot are in the process of being acquired by the Collectivité. This is the land with an area of 1 square meters belonging to Louis-Constant Fleming* next to the bus station, which serves as a car park opposite the rue de la République.
The COM justifies this acquisition by "considerations of general interest attached to the project of revitalization of the city center of Marigot and the maintenance of the economic fabric by a recomposition of the urban fabric, the enhancement of the architectural heritage, the enhancement of public spaces". It also wishes to redevelop rue de Hollande between rue de Concordia and rue Spring with a view to “better regulate car traffic flows, optimize road and pedestrian traffic and smoothen road traffic nodes”.
The executive council validated the acquisition in early February for a total amount of 500 euros, or 000 euros per square meter.
