To close 2020 and not give in to "the gloomy environment", Saint-Martin will come alive with sounds and lights before the arrival of Santa Claus. Garlands that sparkle, eyes that shine, nothing more was needed to restore balm to the hearts of the Saint-Martin population determined to enjoy the traditional Christmas lights that were so lacking!
For good news, it is is! The magic of Christmas will once again operate in the streets of Saint-Martin to the delight of its inhabitants. The Collectivity is in fact currently installing the illuminations for the end of year celebrations. The equipment was delivered last Thursday, and technical services electricians have been hard at work since Friday to complete the installation before Christmas Day.
The main roundabouts of Agrément, the Sea Front and downtown Marigot will be illuminated for December 24, as well as the entrance to Grand-Case and Quartier d'Orléans.
