As part of the tenth edition of "Fête de la Mer" organized by the Association "METIMER" under the responsibility of Bulent Gulay, President, on Saturday 1st and Sunday June 02, 2019, it is prohibited to anchor boats in Grand-Case bay, from Friday, May 31, 2019 at noon (12 p.m.) until Monday, June 3, 2019 at 8 a.m.
During this period, pleasure boats and other shuttles usually anchored in Grand-Case bay will have to settle temporarily in the bays of Friar's Bay and Marigot.
The Port Authorities, the National Nautical Gendarmerie, the Direction de la Mer de la Guadeloupe Unit of Saint-Martin & Saint-Barthélemy, are each responsible for:
- Notifying boaters and those responsible for charter boats,
- To ensure the movement of boats,
- To ensure the execution of this Order.
