The Water and Sanitation Establishment of Saint-Martin (EEASM) informs the population that rue de la République will be partially closed to car traffic, Tuesday, November 22, 2016, from 22 p.m. until Wednesday, 23 November, 6 a.m. This partial closure will allow the connection of drinking water networks with rue de la Liberté with a view to its next reopening.
The EEASM asks the motorists to respect the organization of the traffic which will be temporarily set up and thanks them for their understanding.
The EEASM requests that this temporary closure be respected by motorists so as to carry out the work in good conditions and to be able to reopen the city center within the announced deadlines. Indeed, the partial closure of rue du Général de Gaulle, Sunday, November 20, was not respected by all motorists. Some forced the barriers and rolled on the fresh concrete, endangering the workers present on the site and forcing them to redo the concrete work twice.
