On Sunday March 3, at around 8 a.m., a search and rescue group made up of members of the VKS, the fire department, paramedics and the police went to the Pointe-Blanche prison area to to find and save a man suffering from mental disorder.
The individual in question "JR" did not seem to be able to find his way. The area was searched and the victim was located approximately 300 meters in the bushes of the main road.
When the victim was found, she was not wearing any clothes or shoes. Paramedics treated him, then took him to the Health Foundation for a psychiatric ward.
