Two of the three authors of the series of robberies committed last April were arrested Wednesday and then placed in police custody. They are twenty years old and have no criminal records. One was born partly French, the other partly Dutch. They identified thanks to their DNA left in particular in the vehicles which were used for armed robberies. At the end of the custody, the prosecution will decide on prosecution.
A third individual, aged XNUMX, involved in the facts was arrested by the Sint Maarten police where he also robbed a business during the same period. He was questioned by the gendarmes on the facts committed in Quartier d'Orléans but he should be tried in part Dutch.
