ENVIRONMENT: Everything you need to know about plastic recycling with the EPIC association

The EPIC Foundation (Caribbean Environmental Protection) will launch its much-anticipated “social plastic recycling space”, Perpetual Plastics, this Saturday, May 25, 2024, in Cole Bay, on the occasion of “International Plastic Free Day »

The public is invited to come and take a look at their latest initiative. The workspace is located on Union Road in Cole Bay, next to Burger King, and will be open from 10 a.m. to 16 p.m. The team will allow the public to see how Type 2 and 5 plastics can be sorted, washed, shredded, melted and molded into new useful and reusable items. A new opportunity for the public and organizations/businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and help keep the island cleaner and greener. _AF
