After a beach clean up in January at Galion which brought together 23 courageous participants despite the rainy weather, the Clean St Martin association is relaunching a waste collection session on the coast of Grandes Cayes this Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The clean-up morning is open to everyone, including children given the easy access to reach the targeted site. As usual, participants are invited to bring a water bottle, sun protection (cap, sunscreen) and a pair of gloves. If you do not have one, the association will make some available. In addition to the pleasure of admiring the magnificent landscape of the coast while working for a just environmental cause, the cleaning operations organized by the Clean St Martin association, which now has 5 years of existence in the field, always offer a moment of great conviviality after the effort where all the participants meet around a drink offered to share experiences and get to know each other better in a good-natured and supportive atmosphere. For this Sunday session, several groups will be formed to expand the cleaning perimeter to the feet of the Ecosite. The call is therefore launched to as many people as possible to participate in the event. With this desire intact to raise public awareness of environmental protection and eco-responsible actions, the association made up entirely of volunteers therefore gives an appointment to lovers of nature and Saint-Martin this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot at near horses (after the last dwellings) in Grandes Cayes. _VX
