Through their experience, Jessica Gratien, consultant trainer, and Dail Germain, professional integration actor, have seen that some people would have liked to start their own business but refused out of fear. Fear of getting started, of not succeeding, of not knowing how to manage.

Considering it a shame not to go through with her process solely out of fear, Jessica had the idea of creating a company incubator to support this public. She spoke about it to Dail who immediately joined the project. This is how Le Business Spot was born, a place where everyone can create and do business.

"The principle of an incubator is to allow people to test their project before creating their business," explains Dail Germain. The project leader accompanied and called "couvé" can sell his products or services without having to register. "He uses our Siret number," says Dail. This support is legally sealed by a business project support contract, a so-called CAPE contract signed with Pôle Emploi.

“The contract is for a minimum of one year and renewable for three years. During the time when the person is testing their products, they generate income which will allow them to build up their own funds when they are able to create their own business”, adds Jessica Gratien. During this period, the project leader will be able to take management training and receive advice. "Our goal is to increase his skills" and give him self-confidence, confide Jessica and Dail.

The system is open to any business start-up or takeover project leader, job seeker or part-time employee.

The Business Spot is not only the incubator component. “We also want to offer a co-working space, a place where you can create and expand your network and where you can discuss your experiences,” add Jessica and Dail, who want to work with all the authorities in the territory.

In the meantime, they are organizing two Business Spot presentation sessions on July 4 and 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the CCISM*. They are also looking for a local.
