Employment: Establishment of new hotlines in priority neighborhoods

0

Following discussions with the collective, the prefect of Saint-Martin committed last week to setting up new employment hotlines at Sandy Ground and Quartier d'Orléans. Alongside President Daniel Gibbs and Vice President Sofia Carti, Serge Gouteyron inaugurated yesterday afternoon that of Sandy Ground; Thursday morning they will go to that of Quartier d'Orléans.

The hotlines are run by agents from the Pôle Emploi and the Department of Employment (Deets). They were set up in Sandy Ground and Quartier d'Orléans because they are so-called priority areas within the framework of the City Policy. They are thus housed in public service centers (MASP).

The inhabitants of these sectors - young or not - can therefore go and meet these agents to obtain information on employment, training and especially how to benefit from them.

The Sandy Ground office is open on Tuesdays from 14 p.m. to 16 p.m. and that of Quartier on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 13 p.m. (soualigapost.com)
