Employment: 126 young people from the North Islands will benefit from the Youth Guarantee scheme

0

The Youth Guarantee is aimed at young people aged 16 to 25 in precarious situations who are neither in employment, nor in training, nor in study (called Neet for Neither in Employment nor in Education or Training).

To promote their integration into employment, they receive intensive and collective support and benefit from professional training. This support is accompanied by financial assistance capped at 484 euros per month to facilitate their steps to access employment.

In Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, the quantitative objective is determined by the agreement between the State and Pôle emploi. 126 young people will be supported and the first entries into the Youth Guarantee will take place in January 2019.
