Elections were held on Monday in the Dutch party to renew the Parliament Six lists were in the running: United Democrats (UD), St Maarten Development Movement (SDM), National Alliance (NA), People's Progressive (PPA), United St Maarten Party ( Usp) and St Maarten Chritian Party (SMCP).
Were invited to vote 22 voters. Just under two-thirds visited the twenty polling stations. A total of 559 votes were counted, of which 13 were blank and 953 were void.
UD came out on top with 5 votes, or 748% of the vote before the National Alliance, which gathered 42%. The parties with the least number of votes were the PPA and SDM with 30,5 (280%) and 2 votes (416%) respectively. USp obtained 3 votes (1%), SMCP 788 votes (13,2%).
UD will have 7 seats in Parliament, NA 5 and USp 2 and the SMCP 1.
