President of USEP Iles du Nord for ten years, Jean-Luc Elice leaves Saint-Martin at the end of the school year. He hands over to Andy Armogon.

This school teacher assigned to school mediation, president of Saint-Martin Extreme Runners and also author of the teaching aid “Who stole Lady Liberty's lamp”? was elected president of the USEP Iles du Nord during the association's general assembly held on April 19. He is like the treasurer Evelyne Doressamy, the secretary Manuel Giselere and the USEP delegate for Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy Jérôme Carlet, elected for four years in order to continue school development at the first level. A new office which is not a novice however since its members were already very invested within the association. “I have always had their support. I trust them. I have no doubts ”confided Jean-Luc Elice. The unavailability of most sports facilities, badly damaged by the passage of Irma, limits activities. But the USEP does not lament. “Our main support is the schoolyard, if it is secure and ready to receive students. Gradually, when the infrastructures will be accessible, we will extend our offer ”foresees Andy Armongon. The new president is due to meet with the COM sports department in the coming days to prepare the schedule for next year.
