0

To give its students the opportunity to exchange and cooperate during their learning and allow them to develop their self-confidence, the Freinet school, located in Concordia, organized, last Friday, the knowledge market.

This knowledge market is an opportunity to breathe new life into traditional end-of-year celebrations and to motivate exchange and mutual aid behaviors within the classes. This festive moment was one more moment in their habits of exchange, mutual aid, work in autonomy which also allowed them to forge new bonds. From classes in the Great Kindergarten to second grade, the students (120) presented different free expression workshops on several themes chosen by themselves:

- Lebanon (culinary specialties);

- Project on sustainable development, use of recycled materials to make hanging planters;

- The origins of writing;

- Construction of agricultural tools from the Middle Ages (sickle, harrow, flail, rake, etc.);

- Angling ;

- Land Art: work on poetry.

At the start of the 2016 school year, a review of this knowledge market will take place with the students. They will look at the activity they carried out. Did it go well? Was it suitable for the target audience? All kinds of questions they will have to answer after the Christmas holidays. _AF
