EDUCATION: Exceptional aid of 3000 euros granted to 70 students enrolled in BTS in Saint-Martin

The Collectivity has decided to grant financial aid to students enrolled in BTS in a public establishment in Saint-Martin.

On this basis, 636 students applied for financial aid estimated at nearly €3 million. Only students who left the territory could claim this device. Those who remained in Saint-Martin can only benefit from CROUS aid. Also, aware of the burden of monitoring studies on site, and taking into account the difficulties encountered on a daily basis, the Collectivity has decided to grant them financial aid to students enrolled in BTS in a public establishment in Saint-Martin. The executive council, meeting on November 10, 2022, decided to grant the sum of €3 to each of the 000 BTS students enrolled in the two public high schools, LGT R. WEINUM and LP D. JEFFRY. This support makes it possible in particular to cover the costs linked to the purchase of computer equipment, the purchase of the bus card and catering. This exceptional aid scheme for a total amount of €70 for the 210-000 academic year aims to support students pursuing their studies in the territory, within the framework of the European Social Fund under the priority axis 2022 "REACT-EU FSE" of the PO State FEDER ESF Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin 2023-16. _AF
