A collective of overseas and French artists are mobilizing all week with the ARIANA association to contribute to the cultural openness of young people in Saint Martin by broadcasting a MIX'ART program based on music, opera and plastic arts.

At the end of this program which aims to give concrete access to culture to 500 young people, a restitution day will be organized this Friday, March 11, in two stages. The morning, reserved for schoolchildren, will highlight the active commitment of young people and their appropriation of the artistic and cultural heritage with, at 10 a.m., an exhibition of participatory productions "MIX'ART KARIB'HEART" of Street Art carried out on 50 meters of canvases as part of the "L'art en fête" scheme, thus inaugurating the fresco created collectively. In fact, 200 young people will have followed the program of actions carried out in addition to school time in conjunction with the services of the Rectorate and the educational teams within the framework of the "Karib Heart" system in order to fully integrate into the course. of EAC of 10 schools. The various workshops will have been led by three urban art artists. The morning will continue at 10:30 a.m. with a youth concert "MIX'ART, Classical musical journey around opera with Mozart's Magic Flute" for students, during which two tunes will be performed by the young people themselves: Das Kinglet by the students of the CHAM Elie GIBS, class of CE1 and the air of Papageno by the music section of the Lycée. Mozart, Bach, Caccini, Fauré, H. Arlen will be honoured. 300 young people from Saint Martin followed music workshops around Mozart's famous opera led by a collective of 4 musicians from France: Camille Théveneau (violin), Emmanuelle Isenmann (soprano), Ismaël Margain (piano) and Jean-Christophe Sampson (transverse flute). This part  is also part of the EAC course by being part of the “Journey around the Opera” scheme of 10 schools. The second part of this restitution day on March 11 will take place on the seafront of Marigot from 20 p.m. with another concert, free and open to the general public, this classic musical journey signed MIX'ART will include a performance by the musicians of the collective as well as the Steel Pan group "The Gunslingers Steel band". Lovers of great composers such as Handel, Beethoven, Ravel, Caccini, Fauré, Schubert, Poulenc, Sarasate, Ibert, Gaubert, Arlen and Bizet will find their happiness here. _VX
