ECONOMY: Legal notice of an illegal garage storing car carcasses

0

During his visit in early March, the inspector of installations classified for environmental protection noted that a garage located in Concordia operating an end-of-life vehicle (ELV) storage activity was not in good standing . Carcasses were notably stored in an unsealed area and dangerous liquids were not recovered as they should have been in a secure manner.

It also appears that the establishment did not have the necessary approval or the required registration with the authorities.

The Deal therefore gave formal notice to PAV, the operator of the installation, to regularize its administrative situation to operate an ELV center within three months. In the meantime, its activity is suspended. If at the end of the three months, he still has not regularized his situation he will have to evacuate all the carcasses of cars and waste (engines, oils, batteries, filters, etc.) present on his site towards approved companies. He must also definitively cease his ELV storage activity and secure the site. (soualigapost.com)
