This brand new vocational training and learning center will open its doors in September this year. On the program of the professions offered: aesthetics, hairdressing, sales, commerce, tourism and real estate.
The school offers students at the end of the third year of training which will go from CAP, BAC PRO, BTS to BACHELOR. It also has the status of CFA which enables it to offer apprenticeship training, as well as a set of professional certifications recognized by the State. The diplomas offered target professions in aesthetics, hairdressing, sales, commerce, tourism, real estate and NRDC (Negotiation and Digitalization of Customer Relations). Gladys Repetto, director and founder of the Académie des Métiers, was at the head of the management of three schools in the south of France specializing in the field. Attached to Saint-Martin, she was keen to come and resettle on the island with a view to offering Saint-Martin's youth the possibility of being fully trained without having to leave the territory. The Académie des Métiers has the capacity to accommodate 120 students in the three large cubes on the second floor of the Aventura Mall. The 1st cube is already operational with 2 classrooms and a conference room. This private training center is also accessible to adults wishing to reform professionally. Tuition fees are around € 4000 per year with easy payment possibilities. Gladys Repetto and Nadia Ruhomutally, her management / marketing assistant, are also working on the integration of scholarship students and a merit scholarship.
For students, parents and even teachers, the Open Days will take place on Saturdays February 20, March 6, 10 and 27, April 10 and 24. Only by appointment in order to respect the sanitary measures currently in force. If you register for one of these days, the costs (up to 150 €) will be offered.
