And two more for the Galleon Watergirl! Camille Lavocat is on the Hope U18 and Surf Open podium recently in Guadeloupe. She ensures for her club and her island two additional victories and thus takes the first two places of the provisional classification.

The team has just participated in the second edition of the regional hope and open championship in Guadeloupe. Two surf spots had been selected to organize this competition, Anse-Bertrand, located to the north of the island and that of Moule, further east. The waves were at the rendezvous on the Guadeloupe beaches to the delight of surfers and organizers. The Saint-Martin surf club had come with a dozen surfers, 3 youngest, 2 youngsters, 2 juniors and 3 undine surfers.

Four surfers from the team will go to the final during this edition, with a very nice second place obtained by Thomas Doumenjou, just behind the world junior surf champion Isa 2015, Léo Estienne. Note the fourth place of Bernard Rongier who also made a great competition.

The next meeting will take place again in Guadeloupe at the end of January, then continue on St-Barth and finalize at the beginning of March for the 2016 Guadeloupe championships._AF
