Antigenic tests available at Orly and Roissy from this Monday, October 26

Responding to the air sector's call, the French government has given the signal to set up antigenic tests on the departure and arrival of passengers at Roissy and Orly airports, which will be in place from Monday October 26th. to detect Covid-19 contamination.

The major players in tourism, airlines and airports which are terribly damaged by the health crisis have launched a new cry, demanding the implementation of antigenic tests in airports. The government has announced that they will be available  from October 26 at Orly and Roissy.

These rapid tests on the departure and arrival of passengers at Roissy and Orly airports should make it possible to know in 15 to 30 minutes whether passengers are positive for Covid-19.

These rapid tests will be made available as a priority for travelers who do not have the results of their PCR test on time. Currently, the screening center in the basement of Orly 4 takes an average of 500 samples each day.

In addition, the director of Orly announced the opening of a second screening center at the airport to relieve the first, in particular for travelers going overseas.
