Above normal temperatures

Météo France regularly publishes seasonal forecasts for the Lesser Antilles and Guyana, the objective of which is to determine the average climate over the next three months, explains the organization. For May, June and July 2017, temperatures are expected to be above normal. For rainfall, “it is the anomalies in the surface temperature of the tropical Atlantic Ocean that influence the anomalies in rainfall over the quarter”. And “in view of these uncertainties, no signal emerges at this stage for the rain anomalies”. No scenario is therefore favored by Météo France, at the dawn of the next hurricane season. _EH
