As indicated in a previous press release aimed at preventing the population, the EEASM and its delegate La Saur will proceed to selective water cuts from April 20.

In fact, the rehabilitation and modernization work undertaken on the production tool (UPEP) and which will ultimately make it possible to achieve a security situation in terms of drinking water supply require successively shutting down the production lines. The volumes produced during the work will therefore be impacted and leave no other option than these sector cuts.

The cuts will be made between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and could last an average of 24 hours according to a schedule now established, which may however change depending on the reality of the situation.

Naturally, the neighborhoods in which sensitive equipment has been identified (hospital, EPHAD), as well as most schools will not be cut off any more than the sectors where the aging network cannot withstand the variations in pressure associated with it. to water releases.
