Professionals carrying out work at the homes of individuals will be required to display their prices online on their professional site, according to a decree of the Official Journal which entered into force on April 1. It thus replaces the decree of 2 March 1990 relating in particular to the advertising of the prices of breakdown services in the building sector and household equipment. Scams in this area are not uncommon: it is for this reason that the government has decided to act. The Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) receives nearly 9.000 complaints per year. In 2016, the government launched an information campaign on these fraudulent practices. _EH
