Daniel Gibbs is the first to have submitted his list to the prefecture on Monday for the second round of the territorial elections which will take place on Sunday, a list to which he has made no changes.
“I am the only candidate to maintain my convictions, my values, a close-knit team, a loyal team. We were 26 at the start, we will be the same 26 at the finish,” he confides. And to denounce his comrades who made an alliance, "who made calculations solely out of personal interest and not for the interest of the territory".
“I was criticized for having lacked transparency and today it is these same people who criticized me, who lie to the population by going to another list for the second round”, he agrees. In 2012, Daniel Gibbs arrived in second position behind the RRR, had not made an alliance. "We were 150 votes behind, I could have made an alliance to get votes, but I didn't want to do it, I'm still faithful to my convictions," he adds.
Today, Daniel Gibbs is 54 votes behind on the list led in the first round by Louis Mussington and is approaching this second round “with great serenity”. “I trust my people.
