If there is one of the riders of the Vélo-Club de Grand-Case who is promised a bright future, it is Adélio Brooks! Crowned champion of Guadeloupe Juniors on the road last May, the young cyclist from Saint-Martin has just distinguished himself in a new discipline for him: cyclo-cross!
Since September 1st, our young Saint-Martin champion has been educated in Ile-de-France. On the cycling side, it now has dual membership with ASCE (AS CORBEIL-ESSONNES CYCLISME) and the Vélo-Club de Grand-Case. Three weeks after arriving in Metropolitan France, Adélio Brooks wants to try out a new discipline, in this case cyclo-cross. Bingo! After a month of competition, Adélio did not take long to shine by occupying 1st place in the ranking of the department of Essonne! Better still, during the Essonne championship organized on November 11 (note: Saint-Martin's Day), he won a promising junior bronze medal after a well-mastered tactical race and in front of a very high plateau . Did you say champion seed?
Note that since the beginning of the week, Adélio has started his PPG (General Physical Preparation) for the next road season.
