Grégory Blondin (Guadeloupe A) became last Sunday, in Baie-Mahault (Guadeloupe), champion of the Caribbean. He is ahead of his teammate Stéphane Larochelle and Yolan Sylvestre. Grégory Blondin, originally from Vieux habitants, allowed Guadeloupe to win its eighth title during the Caribbean Championship, in sixteen editions.

Six circuits representing 140, 700 km were on the program for the sixteenth edition of the Caribbean Championship, last Sunday, in Baie-Mahault.

It was finally at the start of the last lap that Grégory Blondin decided to shift up a gear. The favorites can only see the damage. Grégory, in great shape, heads straight for victory!

In the end and at the end of a smoothly finished race, Grégory Blondin won after 3h 17min 43s in front of Larochelle at 51s and Yolan Sylvestre who went out to join Eddy Cadet-Marthe.

The rest of the peloton, led by Boris Carène, fifth, finished almost four minutes away.

Grégory Blondin allows Guadeloupe to win its eighth title during the Caribbean Championship, in sixteen editions.
