This third thriller is inspired by certain facts really experienced during my career and in particular the dismantling of a reztavek network between Haiti and Europe, via the Dominican Republic, when I was officiating on the island of Saint-Martin. In this third thriller, Commander Blanco and his teammate, Captain Linda, launch themselves headlong into an investigation rich in twists and turns.

Yet faced with strong opposition from high-ranking personalities, mixing notables, sovereign institutions and the Vatican, they take all the risks to come to the aid of very young victims. I can not tell you more so as not to reveal the content.

  In each of your thrillers, you denounce criminal facts. Why this will and not just tell a detective story?

During my career, I have always advocated efficiency, I try to stay in this continuity, when writing my thrillers, to combine the useful with the pleasant. The detective story is essential to stir up suspense and embark the reader on a treasure hunt, as often happens for a cop in a large legal case. But it seems essential to me to take advantage of the writing of this series to pass on strong messages, to raise awareness, generate reactions and, above all, actions.

In Blanco 1 - Unsuspected revenge -, inspired by certain real facts, the internal difficulties encountered by a cop when investigating sensitive cases and the particularity of the merits of the delicate act of revenge are exposed; in Blanco 2 -Insustainable legacy- is denounced the rise of extremist groups and a reminder on genocides, via a cold-case affair; in this Blanco 3 - Inconsolable little angels -, it is a question of alerting the conscience to the extent of the scourge of pedophile networks, whose investigations are often parasitized by high-ranking personalities ...
