Culture: The 7th edition of Art en Fête will take place next May!

0

As in previous years, the team of the National Education Service of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin has decided to offer all school, college and high school staff who wish to participate in the 2022 edition. of L'Art en Fête which will take place next May.

This action is part of the academic project and its application in Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, more particularly plan N°3 “Developing artistic and cultural education”.

This action is also a continuation of the work that has been carried out for many years in this area. It gives it more visibility by uniting it around a common project known to all.

This action :

• Concerns all pupils, from the very small section of kindergarten to the final year.

• Is part of the artistic and cultural education course (PEAC) including its partnership dimension.

• Mobilizes all disciplines and promotes both teamwork and interdisciplinarity. Digital education must have its place more than ever.

• Is articulated with the various actions (REP/REP+, PRE, MLDS, etc.) and thus reinforces the coherence between them in the service of the academic success of all pupils.

We know that, as several studies have shown, artistic education among young people not only improves the academic results of students – particularly the most disadvantaged – but increases their chances of professional success as adults. It is in this spirit that we have designed this action which must:

• allow all students to build up a common and personal culture that is rich and consistent throughout their schooling;

• develop and strengthen their artistic practice;

• allow the meeting of artists and works, the attendance of cultural places.

As in previous years, the 2022 edition of L'Art en Fête can highlight all forms of art, visual arts, music, photography, literature, poetry, graphic arts, digital arts, dance, theatre, fashion, culinary arts, public speaking, etc.

KARIBHEART

“For the 2022 edition of L'Art en Fête, the KARIBHEART theme has been chosen. It is a portmanteau word from which we wanted to promote the Caribbean, the heart/love and art”, emphasizes Michel Sanz, vice-rector. "If the entire team of the national education service of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin is indeed concerned by this action, it is Céline RENGER for the 1st degree and Evelyne FLEMING for the 2nd degree who will be the privileged interlocutors of those and those who will participate in the 2022 edition of L'art en fête.

We sincerely hope that the 2022 edition of L'Art en Fête will be an opportunity for the students of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin to express their creativity, their originality, their talents and the staff who accompany them throughout. of their schooling to highlight their commitment and their dynamism in the service of the objectives that have been set for us in the artistic and cultural fields".
