The Federation of Very Small Enterprises (FTPE) and the Interprofessional Chamber of Saint Martin (CCISM) organized last week, for two days, meetings focused on the aid offered to businesses. An initiative appreciated by the participants who were able to discover the mechanisms of the public investment bank (BPI) and the State.

FTPE president Angèle Dormoy, whose offices are now at CCISM, said at a press conference that the objective of these working sessions was to "give a glimmer of hope to local businesses by explaining the funding support ”. On this occasion, Ms. Dormoy recalled the mission of the federation which is to support and accompany very small businesses. “The BPI has been installed since January 2014 in Overseas France. (…) The objective is to have an operational partnership with the FTPE of Saint-Martin in order to allow local businesses to access all these devices in the same way as Guadeloupe businesses, ”explained the life commissioner companies and productive development Valérie Paul. For the FTPE Overseas Chairman Alan Nagam, the main thing is to "put in place new economic development strategies to allow the territory to regain economic confidence".
