The national days of the French Red Cross will take place from June 9 to June 17, 2018. On this occasion, volunteers and employees of the French Red Cross, organize a Red Cross village, Saturday, June 9, at Howell Center in 8:30 a.m. to 16:30 p.m.
These national days are taking place in a very special way this year, given the devastating hurricane events last September, volunteers will not beg on public roads during these national days.
Saturday, June 9, volunteers and employees of the French Red Cross will be installed in the common areas of Howell Center to hold stands for information and presentation of devices, notably the "HEALTH" bus. This will be an opportunity to inform the public about our different actions, to show them the emergency equipment, to make some first aid gestures and also to recruit new volunteers.
We will also offer some Red Cross “goodies” as well as a solidarity clearance sale. Trunks will be made available to the public on the various stands for people who would like to donate on this occasion.
The entire population is therefore invited to support the French Red Cross especially on this day.
A Zumba session will be offered around 16 p.m. to end this day, you are all invited to make a few movements in the right atmosphere.
For those who wish to join the volunteer team, registrations will be made directly on the stands.
