Saint-Martin now has 754 students in high school (from second to final) and 543 students in third, or 1297 students who must be supported in their decision-making for the choice of studies.

After its Successfull Departure operation, which aimed to support departing students, the Community has chosen to ramp up with a new event organized much earlier in the year and bringing together all aspects of vocational guidance for optimal support of our youth.

The Executive Council approved the creation of the Student Orientation and Mobility fair, which will be held each year in January over the period 2021-2024.

The purpose of this show is:

1- To offer students a place where all the players in the region and elsewhere who work in the fields of training, employment and mobility can meet.

2- To promote geographic mobility (regional, national, international) to develop the skills of Saint-Martin and facilitate their integration into the job market.

3- To support them in the choice of their studies for a better professional orientation.

The budget for this event is estimated at € 126709. The Collectivity will seek funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) for 85% of the budget, i.e. € 107702,65. The Collectivity will finance the remaining 15%, i.e. € 19006,35.
