Covid-19: Closure of the test center at Hope Estate

The Regional Health Agency (ARS) and the Prefecture of the Northern Islands are informing the Saint-Martin population of the upcoming closure (April 29 at 15 p.m.) of the Hope Estate drive carried by the French Red Cross. Indeed, the latter is called to intervene on the vaccinodrome which will be installed in Galisbay and must therefore reposition its resources.

From this Friday April 30, the Marigot drive (behind Mac Donald) will change its opening hours, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., to offer up to 120 PCR samples per day.

People wishing to access an antigen test are invited to contact pharmacies (Sun, Soualiga, Concordia and Bellevue).

On Saturday mornings, the Bio Pôle Antilles (BPA) laboratory will be accessible for PCR samples (around 60).

On the other hand, Bio Pôle Antilles and the Marigot drive being closed this Saturday, May 1, no PCR test can be carried out: antigenic tests will therefore be exceptionally tolerated on Tuesday May 4 by airlines (other communications will follow for others. public holidays in May).

No PCR test can be performed for travelers. Patients needing a test for medical reasons will be taken care of in the emergency room of the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital or at Bio Pôle Antilles.
