Covid-19: 24 new active cases and 1 death to be deplored in the French part


The latest health bulletin published by the Regional Health Agency reports 24 new positive cases recorded in part in France for the period from October 18 to 24, a figure that is decreasing since 33 cases were identified the week before.

Taking into account the consolidated data from previous weeks, this brings to 3 the number of cumulative cases of coronavirus confirmed in the territory since the start of the health crisis.

Since Monday, October 25, 13 new cases have been recorded out of 547 analyzes carried out.

The incidence rate is falling but remains above the alert threshold, at 67.1 / 100 inhabitants.

As of October 27, a cluster counting 3 cases, was registered in the territory. It is nevertheless considered to be under control.

Last week, a Saint-Martin patient hospitalized in Guadeloupe died. This brings to 56 the number of residents of Saint-Martin who have lost their lives as a result of Covid-19 since the start of the health crisis.

Since Wednesday, there has been no patient cared for at the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital center. _AF
