Drinking water cut: point at 13 p.m.

0

Following an electrical malfunction that occurred on the evening of Wednesday and impacting the Galisbay drinking water production plant (UPEP), the drinking water supply has been interrupted throughout the island since 9:30 a.m. this Thursday 19th May 2022, for an indefinite period.

The replenishment will depend on the return of electrical service and the resumption of production to restore safe levels in the reservoirs.

The SAUR Saint-Martin and EDF teams joined forces to carry out the necessary repairs as quickly as possible.

At the same time, SAUR Saint-Martin is working on alternative solutions in the event that this outage should be prolonged.
In the meantime, a distribution ramp is already operational in Galisbay, available to the general public.
The other measures will be detailed during the next situation update at 17:00 p.m., after the meeting which will take place in the prefecture this afternoon.

SAUR Saint-Martin apologizes for the inconvenience caused and thanks the population for their understanding.
