This Thursday, May 19, at 14:30 p.m., the Prefect brought together all the actors responsible for civil security, electricity and water distribution networks, as well as representatives of the community in the prefecture.
The EDF agents as well as those of the SAUR confirmed, after investigation on all the networks, that the cause of the breakdown responsible for the cut which occurred last night, was located in the supply of the desalination plant located in Galisbay. An underground electrical box with high voltage connections is currently out of service. The repair process is ongoing and requires digging and burying work to replace the failed circuits.
