0

This Thursday, March 26, Saint-Martin has a new positive case at Covid-19, and two on the sister island of Saint-Barth.

This brings the number of active cases on the French side to ten and to twelve the total number of cases confirmed since the start of the pandemic. Two are healed.

Six of the active cases are hospitalized, including two transferred to the Guadeloupe teaching hospital (an elderly man, domiciled in Agrément and a pregnant woman) and a person repatriated to his country of origin, Haiti.

Four other people are confined to their home, including a young person in Quartier d'Orléans.

In Saint-Barth, the number of active cases is four, two more than yesterday.

The four Covid-19 positive people are confined to their homes.

People returning to our islands must absolutely respect their fortnight

It is only in this way that we will fight this epidemic and preserve our health professionals and the energy that they deploy without counting.

Respect the confinement scrupulously, only go out when absolutely necessary, respect the barrier measures!

We continue to call for everyone's solidarity in order to apply and respect the national guidelines. The awareness of containment must be immediate, in responsibility.

The fortnight for anyone returning to Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy must be absolutely respected.
