Coronavirus: Slowdown in vaccination last week

The pace of the Covid-19 vaccination slowed last week with 311 injections administered compared to an average of 500 in the previous two weeks.

111 people received their first dose and 195 their second dose last week. A total of 9 people have a complete vaccination schedule and 682 have received a dose.

Recalls or third vaccine injections began in early September in Saint-Martin. So far, 21 so-called vulnerable people have received this reminder.

Still a part of the population, partly French, oppose the vaccination obligation for certain professions; the SXM Resistance movement will support the staff of the Louis-Constant Fleming hospital this Friday. He already supports the firefighters who are on strike. At the hospital, no employee is currently on strike, confirmed yesterday the director of the establishment.
