The festival of our AFROLATIN'MOVE Association bowed out on June 14 at the Soggy Dollar in Simpson Bay.

“We have, for 5 days, thrilled festival-goers to the wild rhythms of Cuban Salsa, Semba, Gwoka Ka, Dominican Bachata and the sweetness of traditional Kizomba.

We would like to thank our partners and sponsors who trusted us: The Pizza Club Princess Casino, the Carré Vert in Marigot, Willy and Sandrine of Bruno's Place, the Captain Frenchy restaurant, 978 Beach restaurant, the Bamboo House in Cole Bay, Soggy Dollar, Independence Shipping Agency in Galisbay, Rêv'Car in Grand-Case and Rapido Print.

A big thank you to the collaborators, Olivier and Aude, Alain, Clyde, Lionel and Barbara, to the members of the office, (Ann and Ysa) for the provision of their accommodation and Ruddy and Hélene.

A very big thank you also to our artists who knew how to share and pass on their passion and to the Ti Ouana group from St Barth who came in large numbers to join us…

Above all, a huge, huge thank you to all our student members and festival-goers who made this Festival an unforgettable event!

See you next year !

Relive the highlights of the festival soon on our facebook page and Instagram.”

The President, Jean-Marc Negrit
